The RNA Kit (Blood/Cultured Cell) is a RNA Isolation Kit designed for total RNA purification from fresh whole human blood and cultured cells. ThisRNA Kit will purify RNA from blood within 20 minutes using an efficient RNA miniprep system. Detergents and chaotropic salt are used to lyse cells and inactivate RNase. Total RNA Mini Kit (Tissue) RT050, RT100, RT300

The Total RNA Mini Kit (Tissue) is a RNA Isolation Kit designed for total RNA purification from a variety of animal tissue and paraffin-embedded tissue using an efficient RNA miniprep system. This RNA Kit will purify RNA from tissue samples within 15 minutes. Tissue samples can be efficiently homogenized in a microcentrifuge tube using the provided DNase and RNase-free Micropestle. TheTotal RNA Mini Kit (Tissue) uses detergents and chaotropic salt to lyse cells and inactivate RNase. RNA in the chaotropic salt is bound by the glass fiber matrix of the RNA spin column. Taq DNA Polymerase is thermostable 5 3 DNA polymerase. It lacks 3 5 exonuclease (proofreading) activity and has low 5´ 3´ exonuclease activity. Polymerase exhibits deoxynucleotidyl transferase activity resulting in A-overhang at the 3‘-ends of PCR products and allowing for TA cloning. The PCR accuracy of Taq DNA Polymerase is 4.5 x 104 (a number of nucleotides incorporated before the first error occurs).

The Presto™ Mini gDNA Bacteria Kit is a Bacteria genomic DNA extraction kit optimized for genomic and viral DNA purification from Gram negative bacterial cells and Gram positive bacterial cells. This Bacteria Genomic DNA Extraction Kit includes Gram+ Buffer and Lysozyme and when combined, will efficiently lyse bacterial cell walls consisting of the peptidoglycan layer. Chaotropic salt is used to lyse cells and degrade protein, allowing DNA to easily bind to the glass fiber matrix of the genomic DNA spin column. Contaminants are removed using a Wash Buffer (containing ethanol) and the purified genomic DNA is eluted by a low salt Elution Buffer, TE or water.
